To Grandmother’s House We Go! 5 Tapestry Bags We Love

by Skinnypurse

Up until recently, tapestry always seemed to get a bad rap. Okay, maybe “bad” is the wrong word – “old” is probably more accurate, whether it conjured up memories of the decorations and bedding at your grandmother’s house (no offense, Granny) or just reminded you of a dusty old antique shop. But this season, tapestry is getting shot-putted into the 21st century with trendy updates, showing up on everything from booties to moto jackets and even awesomely stylish handbags. It may be hard to believe, but yes, tapestry is trendy once again, and I’ve rounded up some bags that prove my point that today’s takes on tapestry are worth spending some of your shopping budget on, and it isn’t just for ill-received hand-me-downs anymore! From D&G’s glamorous takes on tapestry to Jeffrey Campbell’s ironic puppy prints, there’s something about these textured totes, satchels, and backpacks that have us dreaming of stylishly cozy days ahead this season!
